Photos of Butterflies
I really get a kick out of trying to take photos of butterflies that visit my butterfly garden. I sneak up on them, and try to steady the camera to get the photos, but butterflies are very active, and they won’t sit still very long. Not to mention, my hands shake when I get excited!
I have finally managed to get a couple of photos of butterflies that I am really proud of, there is this picture of a swallowtail butterfly on my blue butterfly bush. I could not have asked for a better photo of a butterfly! It took several tries to finally get that shot. I don’t believe I could ever be a professional photographer.
I have managed to save up enough to get a new digital camera, and I can’t wait to try it out! Digital cameras are the greatest for taking photos of butterflies, you can take as many pictures as you like! It doesn’t matter if they come out right, you can always just delete them, and I do that a lot!
I am re-doing my butterfly garden this year, and I plan to be taking a lot of photos of butterflies! I am planting it in such a way that I should have plenty of chances to get good photos of my butterflies! I will be using them in my posts; as soon as I figure out exactly how to do that. I work with computers all day, but I can sometimes be technologically challenged!
It increases my enjoyment of the butterfly garden so much to take so many photos of butterflies, I can look back during the winter months and remember the feeling I had when I took the picture. I have always been fascinated by butterflies, I guess that is why I am always trying to get the “perfect photos” of butterflies!
